A Nigerian man, Sola Adio, has reacted to the viral incident that occurred between an Ibom Air passenger and staff, stating that the airline's staff were "not well trained."
A passenger, Comfort Emmanson, was filmed slapping an air hostess on the plane and resisting arrest from the airport security that confronted her at the Lagos airport in videos that emerged.

Reacting to the incident, Sola stated that Ibom Air was his favourite airline but noted that the staff were not well trained to handle a crisis.
On his X page, @solaadio, he mentioned 3 things that could have been done differently in the accident.

"Ibom Air is my favourite airline in Nigeria but I am sorry to say that they were not well trained to handle crisis situations. Nigerian airline crew and ground staff lack training. The aircraft door should never have been opened till security arrived.
"All passengers should have been told to remain seated without giving any clues that security was coming. The security should have boarded the aircraft and cuffed the criminal away before any disembarkment commenced. The Ibom hostess was in a dangerous situation as the criminal could have easily pushed her down the stairs."
