An old woman left many awestruck with her kind gesture to a cashier who had encouraged her to buy a lottery ticket, a risk that turned a success and paid off.
Grandma Marion, who is 86 years of age, shared her win of $300 (N123k) with the man as she had promised.

Goodnews Movement which shared the lovely story on Instagram reported that Marion had in the course of the week visited the store.
She had met the cashier identified as Walter who advised her to buy a lottery ticket. The old woman consented with a promise to take care of him when she wins.

She gave him an envelope
An adorable video capturing Marion's return to the store showed her arriving at the place with balloons and straightaway handing the cashier an envelope that read ''WALTER WON.''
Marion then gave him the balloons she came in with, a gesture that attracted rounds of applause from other persons watching them in the store.
The old woman then rounded off the sweet moment with his share of her win after which they hugged.

Man spends heavily after winning mega jackpot of N755m
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a man had bought apartments for himself and a big hotel for his wife after winning the mega jackpot of N755 million.
As soon as the money hit his account, Cosmas walked into a car bazaar and drove out in a Toyota Landcruiser V8.
“I got it at KSh 12 million (N43,438,620), cash money, and it serves me well to date. It has no loan,” he noted.
He admits that for a long while, he struggled with making the right decision over what he was going to do with the money.
Having grown up in a dilapidated house, Cosmas channelled some KSh 2 million (N7.2m) towards constructing a new permanent house in the village.
As it happened, a friend informed him that there were apartments in Kitengela, Kenya that were on sale for KSh 50 million (N180m), which he quickly purchased and became a landlord.
“From the following month, I started earning about KSh 400,000 (N1.4m) through rental income,” he expressed.
