Abuja-based property and household platform Shelta has announced new partnerships with Matilda Rozi and Ekishi Africa, two moves the company says will give Nigerian households access to home appliances, everyday products and alternative energy solutions through a single, growing ecosystem.
The deals were disclosed by Shelta and mark a deliberate push by the company to extend its reach well beyond rent management and property services into the broader costs and needs of running a home.

Matilda Rozi brings home appliances into the mix
Through the partnership with Matilda Rozi, Shelta users will be able to access a wide catalogue of electronics, kitchen appliances and home products. Matilda Group, the parent company behind Matilda Rozi, covers electronics, furniture, luxury lighting and household retail. Its appliance range includes brands such as Bosch, Midea, Haier Thermocool, Kenwood, Panasonic, Philips and Scanfrost, and the retailer is listed among Midea's Nigerian retail partners.
Shelta says the aim is not simply to add another shopping option, but to connect households with an established merchant within an ecosystem where payment flexibility and rewards can work together.
Ekishi Africa covers the energy gap
The second partnership, with Ekishi Africa, takes the ecosystem into alternative energy. Ekishi Africa provides solar and green-energy solutions covering system design, installation and maintenance.
With electricity supply remaining a persistent challenge for many Nigerian households, Shelta says the arrangement will let users find and access solar or inverter solutions through a verified provider rather than having to search independently.
Flexible payments and COVA rewards
Alongside access, Shelta is positioning its flexible payment options as a key feature of the expanded ecosystem. The company already lets tenants spread rent across monthly, quarterly or biannual plans, and it is extending that logic to other household expenses, including appliance purchases and energy installations.

On top of that, eligible transactions within the ecosystem can generate COVA points through Shelta's rewards and credit system. The company says COVA is designed to return value to households from spending they would carry out regardless, whether on home products, energy solutions or other participating services.
Shelta describes the overall direction as a shift from solving a single housing problem towards addressing a wider range of everyday household needs, including access to verified merchants, more convenient payment arrangements and rewards from routine spending.
