The Next Level Prayer (NLP) community and members of Harvesters International Christian Church (HICC) have celebrated Nigerian fashion designer Veekee James and her husband, Femi Atere, following the birth of their first child, a baby girl.
The couple welcomed their daughter, Eliana Adeife Atere, on May 2, 2026. Announcing the development on Instagram, they disclosed that the baby was born in the United States and weighed 3.83 kilograms at birth.

Lead Pastor at HICC and Convener of the Next Level Prayer, Bolaji Idowu, also shared videos of the couple and their newborn on his Instagram page, describing the birth as an answered prayer.

Idowu noted that a virtual prayer session was held for the family, during which prayers were also offered for couples expecting children. He encouraged members of the community to remain hopeful, expressing confidence that more testimonies would follow.
Reacting to the post, Atere appreciated the cleric for his prayers and support throughout the journey.
The couple further explained the meaning behind their daughter’s name, stating that “El” means God, while “Ana” means “He has answered,” together signifying, “My God has answered.”
They also cited the Bible verse, 1 Samuel 1:27, which reads: “For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him,” reflecting the significance of the birth.
The announcement has since attracted congratulatory messages from members of the NLP community and other well-wishers.
The birth of baby Eliana marks the couple’s first child and has been widely described within the faith community as a testimony of answered prayers.
