The service warned that attendance must strictly follow the allocated schedule and that failure to appear within the designated slot will result in disqualification.

The NCS clarified that this pre-test is designed to help candidates get familiar with the system and to aid proper planning of the main recruitment exercise.

It will not determine the final outcome of the recruitment process. Candidates are also reminded that the pre-test link remains the same as the one earlier provided in their email notifications.

While the new schedule applies only to the Superintendent Cadre, the service said applicants for the Inspectorate and Assistant Cadres will receive information about their own pre-test at a later date.

These categories of applicants were specifically advised not to log in to the verification portal at this stage.

Candidates are required to verify their batches at an internet café or on their PC ahead of the pre-test.
