Tinubu assured the Buhari family of upholding the legacies of the late Nigerian leader.

President Tinubu was received by Buhari's widow, Aisha, her eldest son, Yusuf, and other relatives and associates of the deceased leader.

Presidential aide, Bayo Onanuga, said President Tinubu told Buhari’s family that they are not alone in grief.

The Special Adviser to the President on Information & Strategy made this known in a statement issued via his X handle @aonanuga1956.

Photos show transformation of Buhari’s graveyard

Recall that the graveyard of late Buhari in Daura, Katsina state, has undergone a massive transformation.

The former Nigerian president died on Sunday, July 13, 2025, in a clinic in London, United Kingdom, sparking mourning.

Buhari's former aide on Digital Communications, Ahmad Bashir, shared new photos of the graveyard of the former leader.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that the family of late Buhari opened up on the reason for the new look of his resting place.

Legit.ng recalls that Buhari was buried in Daura, Katsina state, after he passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025, in a clinic in London, United Kingdom.

A family member, Alhaji Hamisu Haro, who is in charge of the day-to-day running of Buhari’s house, explained the reason for the massive transformation of the late president's graveyard.
