Meet Alan Adeboye, Champion of Youth Empowerment and Development
Ambassador (Dr.) Alan Peter Adeboye has emerged as one of Nigeria’s notable voices in youth empowerment, human capital development, and institutional capacity building, earning recognition for his sustained contributions to leadership development and humanitarian advocacy.
A Nigerian executive leader and youth development expert, Adeboye has over five years of professional experience spanning human capital development, business consulting, and human resources management. Within this period, he has built a reputation for strategic thinking, operational efficiency, and results-oriented leadership across both public and private sector engagements.

He studied Business Administration at the University of Ilorin, where he developed a strong grounding in management and organisational leadership. In recognition of his professional impact, he was awarded a Fellowship Doctorate in Strategic Business Management by the Chartered Institute of Public Resources Management and Politics (CIPRMP), Ghana. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), Nigeria, and the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
Professionally, Adeboye has contributed to high-impact projects in organisations such as the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), Alphatech Hub Integrated Services, and BGR Consulting Ltd. His expertise cuts across recruitment and talent acquisition, employee training and development, leadership coaching, organisational restructuring, and performance management, positioning him as a trusted advisor in human capital strategy.
Beyond corporate engagements, Adeboye is widely recognised for his dedication to youth development. He has played a key role in training, mentoring, and equipping Nigerian youths and National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members through structured capacity-building and leadership development programmes. These initiatives have equipped thousands of young Nigerians with employability skills, ethical orientation, and workforce readiness.
His contributions to youth training earned him national recognition at the National Humanitarian Summit held on 8 May 2025 at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja, where he received a National Award for Impact in Youth Training and Development. The summit was organised by Fumilayo Health Foundation Africa under the theme “Strengthening Humanitarian Efforts for a Resilient Nation.”
Adeboye currently serves as the Special Envoy on Youth Affairs at the International Forum for Peace and Diplomacy (IFPD). In this role, he advocates youth inclusion in diplomacy, peacebuilding, and sustainable development, working with stakeholders across government, civil society, and international platforms.
