FCT, Abuja - A former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Timi Frank, said the brutal murder of American conservative activist Charlie Kirk, is a grave loss to the global youth movement and the democratic community.

Nigerian political activist said Kirk is a rising figure whose passion for faith, country and humanity was reflected in his work.

Frank said Kirk at 31 years old had already begun to influence political discourse far beyond the United States.

He called on the United States Government and Utah Governor Spencer Cox to ensure a thorough investigation into the assassination of Kirk.

As reported by Guardian, the former APC chieftain made this known in a statement issued in Abuja, on Monday, September 15, 2025.

Frank currently serves as Ambassador of the United Liberation Movement for West Papua (ULMWP) to East Africa and the Middle East.

According to Frank, swft justice will send a clear signal that political violence had no place in a democratic society.

“I commiserate with the Kirk family, his followers and supporters both in the United States and across the world. I also extend heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of the United States, and to President Donald Trump.”

Frank said Kirk’s dedication to freedom of speech, association and democratic ideals would continue to inspire young leaders worldwide.

He further stated that Kirk’s life should serve as a reminder of the importance of dialogue and respect for differing opinions.

Frank insisted that violence remained a cowardly act contrary to the principles of democracy.

Charlie Kirk's supporters raise over $2.8m

Recall that supporters of Charlie Kirk have raised millions of dollars in donations since the conservative activist was killed.

After the news of his murder was made public, his supporters started raising funds to support Kirk's family.

So far, over $2.8 million (N4.2 billion) has been raised through a campaign hosted on the fundraising platform GiveSendGo.
