Customs Announces 2021 Recruitment Exercise for Nigerians, Lists Positions, Requirements

Nigerians seeking to work with the federal government can now have the opportunity as the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) announced its 2021 recruitment exercise across different cadres.

Legit.ng gathered tha customs also disclosed the availability dates for each cadres and educational requirements for interested persons.

The announcement was made on Monday, December 13, in a statement shared on its official Facebook page.

The NCS says “interested candidates” can apply for employment into the following positions:

1. Customs Superintendent Cadre ASC II (CONSOL 08)

E-Portal Availability Date – 13 December 2021

Applicant must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND).

2. Customs Inspector Cadre AIC (CONSOL 06)

E-Portal Availability Date – 15 December 2021

Applicant must possess an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or Nigeria Certificate In Education (NCE).

3. Customs Assistant Cadre CA II, III (CONSOL 03, 04)

E-Portal Availability Date – 17 December 2021

Applicant must possess Junior Secondary Certificate (JSC) or Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSC).

While noting that all the cadres remain opened for applications till Friday, December 24, 2021, NCS added that the process is free.

Nigeria Customs Service gives update on recruitment into 3,200 positions

In a previous report by Legit.ng, NCS disclosed that the results of the Computer Based Test (CBT) for employment into 3,200 positions within the service would be released.

The spokesperson for the NCS, Joseph Attah, made the disclosure to The Tribune when the publication contacted him on phone concerning the CBT results for the recruitment exercise.

Recall that customs had on April 17, 2019, announced recruitment opportunities for 3,200 positions within the service.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Police Force announced the commencement of applications for the 2021 police recruitment exercise.

Also, the online application portal for the recruitment exercise has been opened for interested persons.
