The loss of the multimillion dollars Dangote Refinery to Lagos state is something that has not gone down well with Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state.

According to Akeredolu, those at the helm of affairs at the time Dangote was looking for land in the state did not take the development of the state seriously.

He said the refinery which was initially meant to be sited in Ondo state before it was later moved to Lagos state would have created jobs for thousands of youths and greatly contributed to the socioeconomic development of the state.
