Nigerian celebrity chef Hilda Baci has further stirred excitement among her fans after the new change she made on her official Instagram page after breaking the Guinness World Record for the second time.
Legit.ng reported that Hilda set a new world record for the largest serving of Nigerian Jollof rice, weighing 8,780 kilograms (19,356 lb 9 oz).

Announcing the feat on Monday, September 15, the Guinness World Record tweeted on X:
"New record: Largest serving of Nigerian style jollof rice – 8,780 kg (19,356 lb 9 oz) achieved by Hilda Baci and Gino in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria."
Recall that in June 2023, Hilda became a national sensation when she claimed the world cooking marathon record, an exhausting 93 hours and 11 minutes. However, she was later surpassed by Irish chef Alan Fisher.
Her new record means she is now a two-time Guinness World Record holder.
To celebrate her new feat, Hilda updated her Instagram bio to include 'Chef X2 Guinness World Record Holder.'
Legit.ng reported that Nigerian celebrities like Peller, Funke Akindele, Kaffy, Tomike Adeoye, Enioluwa, Veekee James, Femi Atere, Tacha, Spyro, and others supported Hilda Baci during her Jollof cookathon in Lagos.

Hilda Baci's team addresses backlash
Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that a series of videos confirming that Hilda Baci and her team thoroughly washed the bags of rice used during her Jollof rice cookathon emerged online.
This was after concerns trailed clips showing members of her team pouring rice from the sacks straight into the big cooking pot.
The video shared by Hilda's team cleared the public doubt about the rice used at Hilda Baci's cookathon.
