According to Bebe Cool, during the pandemic, Ugandan artistes were prohibited to perform due to government restrictions, which left many financially strained.
However, a promoter received permission to host an event under the condition that no more than 200 attendees were allowed. Despite this, the concert reportedly welcomed over 2,000 people, violating the set guidelines.
