Popular veteran actress Angela Okorie recently sparked reactions with her opinion about her younger junior colleagues becoming landladies.

The actress, in an interview, noted that male movie stars are also working hard, adding that young ladies who haven't even spent one year in the industry should stop lying that acting gave them money.

She continued by saying there is no way newbies would outearn her or other older colleagues who have been working for over 20 years with several features to their names.

In an exclusive chat with Legit.ng, actor and MC Tomiwasage spoke on the misconception that male actors are not as successful as their female colleagues and Angela Okorie's statement.

"Well, it's a woman's world, women are becoming bolder, and opportunities presented to them does a lot for them to prosper. It's not as if men aren't making money, but responsibilities won't let them flex online. Some actresses are however not necessarily into acting, and just use it as a front. We know them, they know themselves."
