Biography of Talented Nigerian Rapper and Songwriter, Onah Ogede Paid
Born Ogede Paul Onah, known professionally as “Onah Paid” is a 23 year old Nigerian Rapper/Songwriter.
Onah Paid gained initial recognition with his single “Long Time Coming” released in January 3rd, 2022.
Onah Paid is originally from Oju, Benue State Nigeria but grew up in a rural neighborhood of Ona-Ara Local Government Area of Oyo State Nigeria.

The young talented “soul-rapper” is known for telling his life’s story in his songs.
From growing up in the ugly corner of typical African village, to loosing his dad at the age of fifteen, the rapper is successfully selling his pain rather than complaining.
Onah Paid, who is currently studying Criminal Law at the University of Indianapolis, USA, attended St. James’ Primary School in Atikori, Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State and proceeded to Kegbo Community High School, Atikori, Ijebu-Igbo.
He however got his Senior Secondary School Certificate from Gbedun Community High School, Ibadan.
Onah Paid initially gained admission into the University of Ibadan in 2018 to study Philosophy but dropped out due to financial deficiency.
Onah Paid is the first child of his parents and has four younger siblings.
How he hit his first lick is not yet confirmed, but he was allegedly arrested in Ibadan in 2019 by the Oluyole Division of the Nigerian Police on charges bothering around some petty crimes.
He was acquitted by the judge at Iyaganku Magistrate Court, New GRA, Ibadan after spending couple weeks in Agodi Prison.
His lyrics in one of his songs also reads “Beat a fraud case in my city, don’t ask if I bribed the jury”
So it’s supposed that he got his first lick from fraud.
When asked about his faith, Onah Paid said he goes to church as a culture but he is not religious.
