Security Man Sexually Assaults Two Minors, Pleads Not Guilty

A 25-year-old security man, Jubrin Asli from Chad, is cooling off in police custody after he sexually assaulted to two 3-year-old girls.

Jubrin, who resides at the Marwa area of Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, allegedly inserted his fingers into the private part of the two minors.

One of the little girls reported the assault to her mother, after experiencing pains in her private part while urinating, Vanguard.

Jubrin who is facing a one-count charge of indecent insertion of finger into the private parts of two minors, was arrested and later arraigned at the Igbosere magistrate’s court.

Addressing the court, the prosecutor, Babaji Ishaku, said the defendant committed the offence on August 2 at about 1pm, adding that it is punishable under Section 135 (1) of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2011.

The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the one count charge against him.

Presiding over the case, Magistrate I. O. Omotosho adjourned the matter till August 12 for the defendant’s bail application.

Jubrin was remanded in Ikoyi prison pending his bail application.
