Julius Agwu Donates Heavily To Save Alariwo

One of Nigeria entertainers Alariwo and his wife are currently facing serious health challenges that is life threatening. 

So expensive is the couple health challenges that it has crippled the finances of the king of crossover and forcing him to seek financial help from friends.

Alariwo of Africa was reportedly diagnosed of a disease known as Varicocele, which is described in medical terms as an enlargement of veins inside the scrotum. While is wife suffered acute pulmonary embolism and was on admission in Lagos state University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) for over a month.

Alariwo need a surgery on his scrotum and it costs $130,000 for a corrective surgery abroad, this he could not afford.

Before his wife’s medical case came up, the singer had planned to raise funds and travel abroad for his own treatment. But, faced with a bigger challenge, he had to sell his car in order to pay her medical bills.

But respite have come Alariwo's way as veteran stand up comedian Julius Agwu donated a whooping N7m for his medical treatment abroad.

Alariwo said: "I was shocked when he called to say he would give me the money. Now what I should be looking for is the balance. I want to thank him for this wonderful gesture."

Other friends and colleagues of the Crossover king, such as Agatha Amata and Dayo Adeneye, have also expressed their desire to support his quest for additional funding while friends like Ayo Animashaun, Otunba Sesan Rufai and many others have been rendering assistance to Alariwo.

While appreciating friends for their support, Alariwo dismissed the rumour that he is bedridden.

Julius Agwu earlier this year survived a brain surgery and ever since, he has rededicated himself to God and thanking him for giving him a second chance.
