South-East Rally: Jonathan Refuses To Say If He WIll Run In 2015.

Although participants of the South-east Peoples Democratic Party Unity Rally have pleaded with President Goodluck Jonathan to declare for his second term bid, he said he would reveal his plans at appropriate time.

Several governors have today in their speeches appealed to Jonathan to declare his bid to run in 2015 election.

Responding, Jonathan told fellow PDP members that he would respond to their request "later". He, however, did not specify when exactly he will announce his decision.

He also said that PDP would easily win the 2015 governorship election in the South-East zone.

The rally is a platform for the party members to consolidate PDP grip in the zone as part of efforts to reclaim the two states lost to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
