Buhari, Ministers Need Prayers – Clerics
In a bid to ensure successful governance in Nigeria, some Nigerian clerics are planning a national prayer for President Muhammadu Buhari and the incoming ministers.

According to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Yohana Buru of Intercersory Fellowship, Sabon Tasha, Kaduna, said the national prayer will seek God’s favour for the President’s administration, his fight against corruption and security challenges.
According to him, the national prayer will consist of 40 pastors and 40 imams.

On his part, a Muslim cleric also in Kaduna urged all faith-based organisations to pray for the country and the government.
Abdulrahman Bichi, said Nigerians must unite and fight corruption, reject ethno-political and religious crisis that could cause any setback for the country.
He stressed the need for all Nigerians, regardless of faith affiliation, to pray for peace, love and unity among all citizens.
Meanwhile, traditional and religious leaders in Kaduna state have been asked by authorities of the One Division of the Nigerian Army, to monitor the movements of people in their communities.
Recall that Buhari had said Nigerian troops have recorded tremendous victory against the Boko Haram insurgents, attributing this to the re-training and re-equipping of the military under his administration.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) also assured Nigerians that the terrorist sect can be defeated within the time stipulated by President Buhari.
