BREAKING: 3 Abducted PDP Chieftains Released

According to the Rivers State Police Command's anti-kidnapping unit, they have rescued three chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), abducted last week.

It would be recalled that the three officials, Chinyere Igwe, Ikechi Chinda and Allwell Ihunwo, were kidnapped by unknown gunmen on the premises of the Derail Hotel.

Rivers PDP branch members immediately accused the state governor, Rotimi Amaechi, of being involved in their sketchy disappearance.

As for the current situation the state’s Commissioner of Police, Mr. Johnson Ogunsakin, confirmed the release to reporters, promising that their abductors will be soon arrested.

According to the information provided by the PDP, while Allwell Ihunwo was released Thursday morning, the other two were released late in the evening, no harm made to them.
