Buhari Trekker Allegedly Beaten Up By Naval Officer

A naval officer has allegedly beaten up Suleiman Hashimu, the man who trekked from Lagos to Abuja in honor of President Muhammadu Buhari. 

According to the twitter handle @Elvis Iyongurum , the naval officer and 3 of his colleagues beat Suleiman over issues on traffic obstruction today in Abuja.

However some Nigerians have expressed their thoughts on Linda Ikeji about the incident. Read their comments below:

The returning governor of Borno State, Alhaji Kashim Shettima, said he would make job creation the crux of his administration to change the trekking mentality among the youths .

Since the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari at the March 28 presidential elections, various people have decided to honour him by walking. Suleiman Hashimu was the first as he walked from Lagos to Abuja to honour the president.
