Popular Musician Knocks Buhari Hard

As the 2015 general elections draws closer, Nigerian entertainers are torn in between the leading political parties and their candidates.

Some are in support of President Goodluck Jonathan of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) and others are for Muhammadu Buhari, the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Many of the very popular stars have taken to social media to campaign for their favourite candidates.

Many are of the opinion that these celebrities have been paid a huge amount of money to campaign for the candidates.

Latest to join the list of those against Buhari is popular Port-Harcourt based singer, Duncan Mighty.

The musician decided to take a swipe at the presidential candidate of the APC), following his recent trip to London where he spoke at the Royal Institute of International Affair, Chatham House.

The singer took to his Instagram page to share his opinion on Buhari’s recent trip to London.

He also made reference to his certificate issue which has been trailed with controversies.

Duncan Mighty in recent times has publicly shown his support for the ruling party Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) with his campaigns and performances at the party’s rallies.

About a week ago, Etcetera had named Duncan Mighty as one of the new ‘political prostitutes’ in town. With the term ‘political prostitutes’ he means Nigerian entertainers who are in one way or another publicly showing support for the parties and the presidential candidate they will vote for when election time comes.
