"I'm sure he has no plans of crossing back to the other side of the divide? It will amount to betrayal of trust the people of Edo state have in him. Mr Governor, discuss other pressing matters aside defection with Mr President. APC may take defection to its party for granted in the north, in the south, it requires an extraordinary miracle."
"Let us be serious for once. What's the economic value of his visitation? Nigerians are wallowing in abject poverty and all you're interested is who visits Buhari. Come on!"
"Dear Gov. Obaseki, anti open grazing Bill must be passed and signed in Edo state like other states. I hope nobody convince u to do otherwise. Edo people are tired of the excesses of these marauding herders killing and maiming our people."
"I guess the transfer window is still open to him maybe there are negotiating his fees let wait and see or you can ask FFK."
"If FFK can shamelessly return to APC, why not Obaseki, who was forced out by internal forces. The door is open for him to return."
Okowa, Obaseki, south-south governors storm Rivers
Meanwhile, Nigerian governors of the south-south extraction are said to be in Port Harcourt for a crucial meeting at the Rivers state Government House.
Even though the agenda for the high-profile meeting is yet to be made known to the public, there are reasons to believe that issues like the Value Added Tax (VAT) and the call for the southern presidency in 2023 will be among the topics to be discussed.
Among the governors who are currently in Rivers for this purpose are Godwin Obaseki, Ifeanyi Okowa, and of course, Nyesom Wike, the host.
