Ugezu J. Ugezu has pointed out the silence of Nollywood stars concerning the growing insecurity in Nigeria.

In a recent Instagram post, the popular Nollywood filmmaker started off by acknowledging that people had a right to live their lives.

However, he couldn't help but be stunned by how silent his 'super colleagues' have been about the insecurity in Nigeria. Express disgust at their silence, he questioned if they had another country.

In his words:

"Our super colleagues are not doing or saying anything. They are doing TikTok and dancing on Instagram. Tufiakwa! Una get another country anywhere?"

He captioned his post with a proverb that talked about the animal in the bush not getting confronted and another of a crying animal getting killed.

"When we fail to confront the wild animal from the bush, the animal will continue to disturb. Significantly..... WHEN YOU KILL THE ANIMAL CRYING IN THE BUSH, ANOTHER WILL START CRYING IMMEDIATELY."
