Get new people in place of Nigerians

Nigerians will suffer the consequences

The genesis of the ban

A controversial post of President Buhari was deleted from the bird app on Wednesday, June 2.

This apparently did not go down well with the Nigerian authorities who made it very clear. The information minister, Lai Mohammed, accused Twitter of pursuing a sinister agenda in the country.

Two days later, the federal government announced that it had suspended the activities of Twitter in the country indefinitely.

Legit.ng reported how people reacted after the announcement. Some mocked the government for using the platform to announce the action.
