The publication claimed that even though Omokri also had a special needs child with Tope, he refused to contribute to the upkeep of the family.

Well, Omokri shared his side of things in an Instagram post where he claimed the story was entirely false and sponsored by the presidency.

According to him, the story was published ahead of his planned protest in Paris against President Muhammadu Buhari.

An excerpt of his post reads:

“The story is false. If you look at the platform that originally carried the story, it becomes obvious that it is being sponsored by the Presidency, to distract me from going to Paris, because they know that the Africa-France summit is an international platform and any protest will highlight the failures of General @MuhammaduBuhari.”

Just recently, Legit.ng reported that Omokri said he had no sympathy for single mothers and baby mamas.

According to him, apart from those who were assaulted or are widowed, he doesn’t pity baby mamas one bit. Explaining further, he added that the world was facing a baby mama epidemic which must not be encouraged.

Not stopping there, Reno said celebrities must not be made out of ‘bleached, surgically enhanced Jezebels who are unashamed of their who*redom!’
