The BBNaija platform has proven overtime to be a worthy one for Nigerians who are looking to become famous and have the attention of people all over Africa.

Many times, young Nigerians get on the show with claims that they are not after the prize money but the exposure it will give them.

Sometimes, these contestants already have things they are doing outside the house but desperately need a huge platform that will make them noticed and also kick start their fan base.

The reality show has hosted budding movie stars, media personalities, makeup artistes, influencers, dancers and mostly musicians.

Legit.ng has noticed that while some housemates joined the BBNaija show claiming to already have a music career, fans only become aware of it after they make it known.

Today, Legit.ng has gathered a list of young Nigerians who joined the BBNaija show hoping to boost their music careers.

1. Uriel:

This young lady is now mostly an entrepreneur and influencer on social media. However, she left the BBNaija show with plans to focus on her music as she hoped her newfound fame would help boost it.

2. Laycon:

This young man won the 2020 edition of the show and his music was already doing great numbers while he was still in the house due to the BBNaija platform. He is one fast-rising musician everybody is on the lookout for.

3. Marvis:

This BBNaija 2017 finalist is also one housemate that tried to push her music career after her exit from the show. Even though it doesn’t seem to have kicked off yet, she had hoped her time in the house would give her the much needed fan base.

4. Efe:

BBNaija 2017 winner, Efe, who popularised the slang ‘who I be’ at the time, seemed to have a change of fortune after the show. The love Nigerians had for him during the show seemed to take a downward turn after critics of his music had the loudest voice on social media. However, that has not stopped him from releasing new songs.

5. Teddy A:

This handsome young man who also liked to be known as Alpha Male during the show made it known that he was focused on his music career after leaving the BBNaija house. His songs were also played a few times in the house. Even though his music career does not seem to have made a huge impact, a number of fans are still hopeful that he has more to offer.

6. Bisola:

This BBNaija 2017 contestant can be described as a bag of talents seeing as she is a musician, an actress, a media personality and an influencer. This ‘Jack of all trades’ vibe appears to be working quite well for her.

7. Vee:

BBNaija 2020 star, Vee, is one housemate whose singing talent is undeniable. Some established Nigerian musicians have already shown interest in working with her and she recently did a cover of one of MI’s popular songs with YCEE. Her music career seems to be going off on a good start.

8. Coco Ice:

This BBNaija 2017 star is another housemate who hoped being on the show would give her music career the much needed bump for her to become a household name. Even though that hasn’t quite happened yet, it’s never too late.

In other news, Legit.ng reported that BBNaija 2020 star, Praise Nelson, said he will not be a part of the reality show again if given a chance.

When he participated in Big Brother Naija in 2020, the youngster was oblivious of the fact that it was going to shake things a bit in his life.

Speaking on not joining the show again, he said:

"I won't take it, I feel like I have made my mark, I had my turn and it's time for other people to actually have their own turn. So no, I wouldn't want to."
