Popular Nigerian on-air personality, Daddy Freeze, has shared his take on the viral video of a Nollywood actress who called out her child’s father on social media.
The film star, Shine Francis Odigie, had taken to Instagram to ask Nigerians to plead with her baby daddy to take responsibility for their child after so many years.
According to her, the baby daddy who is based abroad refused to take responsibility for the child after she turned down his plea for an abortion.

Reacting online, Daddy Freeze sympathised with the film star but also noted that it seemed she wanted to blackmail the child’s father and force him to spend money on the child’s welfare.
The media personality noted that the man had wanted an abortion but she insisted on keeping the child. He added that Nigeria being what it is, would not get her justice in the case and she should carry the cross of raising the child herself.

“I also see a hint of what I perceive to be the undertones of blackmail here. If you really want him to have a relationship with his child, reach out to his family unless the underlying intention isn’t to foster a father/daughter relationship, rather it is to twist his hand into being financially responsible for the child’s welfare.”
