Lagos state Governor Honours Super Eagles Legend, Gives him Amazing Gift in the Presence of Iwobi, Musa

- Patrick Pascal has received three-bedroom flat from the Lagos state Government

Former Nigeria international Patrick Pascal has gotten a three-bedroom apartment from the Lagos state Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu when the Super Eagles visited him.

Led by the president of the Nigerian Football Federation Amaju Pinnick, the Super Eagles players and coaching crew had a dinner with Lagos state Governor on Thursday night, March 25.

Pascal Patrick who is the Coordinator of the Super Eagles was also present and the Bauchi state FA Chairman was spotted by Governor Babajide who was happy to see him.

The 46-year-old was among the Super Eagles players who won gold at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics football event.

While speaking with the Super Eagles, Governor Babajide explained that Pascal will get a new three bedroom apartment in the 360 units Prince Abiodun Ogunleye Housing Estate in Igbogbo, Ikorodu.

“We have here, Patrick Pascal (Super Eagles team coordinator), who was part of the team that won the gold medal in Atlanta 96.
“Surprisingly, what we promised him as a nation has not been fulfilled, but Lagos will fulfill that today.''

During his time with the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Pascal Patrick played 11 games between the year 1998 and 1999.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Benin international Steve Mounie stated emphatically that himself and his teammates at the national team are ready for the big battle on Saturday against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Gernot Rohr and his wards are already in Porto Novo where they are preparing for the showdown against Benin Republic in 2022 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Squirrels suffered a defeat in their first fixture against the Super Eagles and the hosts would want to seek redemption against the three-time African champions.

It is also on record that Benin have not lost any game in Porto Novo in the last eight years which will make the encounter against the Super Eagles an interesting one.

Steve Mounie who is currently playing for Brest in France explained that they want to beat the Super Eagles.
