Dutchman Van de Beek could be leaving Premier League club Manchester United at the end of the season despite moving to Old Trafford last season.

He moved to England from Ajax for £35million last summer but has managed to start just two games this season in the topflight.

UK outlet Star via SunSport claims that the 23-year-old is left stunned by limited action and he is worried that he does not have a future at the club.

He began on a flying note scoring on his debut after coming off the bench in his first game last September.

The forward has however not been able to get on the score sheet since then, while his only starts have come against Southampton and West Ham.

He is expected to be back in contention soon, however, with United still in contention for Europa League and FA Cup glory.

Back in January, boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted:

"I wouldn’t say that Donny is happy.
"Of course, he wants to play more, but he gets about his job in the right manner.
"We are doing well and have got players who are playing really well in his position."

In total, van de Beek has made 26 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring once and assisting another.

Meanwhile, Manchester United could reportedly allow Edinson Cavani to leave Old Trafford this summer when his deal at the club expires. Cavani signed for United last summer on an initial one-year contract, completing the sensational move on a free transfer.
