Well, it is because of that particular reason that Canadian singer Justin Bieber recently thought it wise to pull his fans' legs.

Taking to his official Twitter account on Wednesday, March 3, the star posted what appeared to be his phone number online.

His post caused quite a furore on social media with quite a number of his fans struggling to dial it for a one-on-one with the star.

“Call if you need somebody I will be there for you +1 (818) 210-4058,” Bieber wrote on Twitter.

His tweet attracted the attention of his fans who could not help but try their luck.

While his post impressed many people, the response most of them got upon dialling the number disappointed quite a multitude.

Upon dialling the number, callers were greeted with a recording of Bieber singing a lyric from his new song.

“Call if you need somebody I will be there for you,” the singer crooned in the sound bite.

Bieber's fans were hit by yet another streak of disappointments after learning his tweet was actually a promotional stunt for his new album, Justice, which is slated for release on March 19.

The singer's move comes barely a week after the musician disclosed that he will be releasing his album Justice.

In his announcement, the Canadian star said the album is aimed at raising the spirits of people who are feeling helpless in the world in 2021.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the star shared a personal encounter with his fans.
