Southgate is expected to name his squad for the qualification games on March 18 and the player will have a few more days to impress the coach.

Soccer Laduma quoting The Athletic claims Wan-Bissaka could commit to DR Congo should he once again miss out on a Three Lions call-up.

The handler prefers the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Kieran Trippier, Reece James and Kyle Walker ahead of him and will face tough competition if he must break into the team.

Wan-Bissaka has found the back of the net for Man United while assisting three other goals in 36 appearances for the Red Devils so far this campaign.
