Former US first lady Michelle Obama is a woman who lives for women empowerment.

The mother-of-two uplifts girls and women she comes across especially the trailblazers and pacesetters.

The author who also doubles as a filmmaker came across the story of a teenage filmmaker named Kalia Love Jones.

Michelle was in awe of how despite being so young, the 14-year-old is still able to inspire people with her raw talent.

She wrote on Instagram:

“I want to share the story of a talented young filmmaker who recently inspired me. Kalia Love Jones is a 14-year-old from Los Angeles with a passion for storytelling.”

Michelle was blown away by how the youngster produced, wrote and directed her first animated film in 2020.

She said:

“It tells the story of a young girl aspiring to become an architect. Despite experiencing a tragic loss, she’s able to persevere and pursue her dreams.”

She gushed over how Kalia studied filmmaking and paid for the project by herself.

In other news, the first ladies of the United States are known to have a high sense of fashion, with some using their fashion to support a movement, culture and the fashion industry.

Michelle Obama stole the show at Joe Biden's inauguration with her outfit while walking hand in hand with her husband, former president Barack Obama.

She was dressed in a Merlot-colored monochromatic belted fit which had a matchup of a palazzo trouser, a turtleneck, a statement belt and on top of all that look, she put on an overcoat designed by Sergio Hudson, who is an African American fashion designer from South Carolina.
