In a tweet she shared, the mum of one who welcomed her baby girl last year stated that she is now the most vulnerable she has ever been her entire life.
The revelation stemmed from the fact that she can never control the things that her daughter would experience in life such as pain, confusion, insecurity, and fear.
She also promised to be the best example for her daughter.
"Having a daughter has made me so vulnerable. I want her to never be hurt, sad, insecure, in pain, confused, or afraid. The fact I won't always be able to control these things has made me the most vulnerable I've ever been in my life."
Simi's comment generated mixed reactions from Nigerians, and here's what some of them had to say.
"All these celebrities go born one child person no go hear word again. What of people wey come get 2 to 4 daughters nko?"
"It also makes you "sensitive" to things you would have otherwise overlooked because you wanna be the best mom."
