Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa was spotted at the New Jos Stadium watching the Nigeria Professional Football League game between Katsina United and Plateau United.
This is the second time the former NPFL highest goals scorer would be watching a local league game this campaign. The game failed to produce any goal after the normal regulation period.
He was at the same match venue when Kwara United defeated Abdu Maikaba boys on matchday one while he took a few pictures with some fans.
The 28-year-old shared the picture on his official Instagram page encouraging his over 654k followers to support the local league.
Meanwhile, the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner will be hoping to seal a deal with a European club this transfer window.
The forward has been without a club since he parted ways with Saudi Arabian topflight Al Nassr towards the end of last year.
Musa joined them from Leicester in 2018 on a four-year deal but he had to cancel the contract on mutual with the club before he became a free agent.
He is looking to get back to playing competitive football in a bid to reclaim his position in coach Gernot Rohr's squad.
The former CSKA Moscow man has started most of the last few Super Eagles games from the bench but the attacker wants to put an end to that by fixing a club for himself in Europe.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Ahmed Musa was spotted at the Jos Stadium to grace the Nigeria Professional Football League game between Plateau United and Kwara United.
The 28-year-old winger who not-too-long ago parted ways with his Saudi Arabian club side on mutual consent is holidaying in his country home in the northern part of Nigeria.
Although he has been linked with a number of English clubs, however, nothing serious has happened until the transfer window opens a few days from now.
