Looks like a lot of Nigerians would rather get married the traditional way other than following the normal western trend. More people are showing up these days in churches in outfits other than the bride in a white dress and the groom in a suit.
The photo of a couple shared by Gossipmillnaija on Instagram who decided to get married in the church wearing traditional Igbo attire has generated mixed reactions from Nigerians.
The bride made a gown from the traditional fabric and even used a veil that matched the colour of the material.

Nigerians flooded the comment section with views and opinions, with most agreeing that showing up in traditional attires should be the normal trend.

"Its meant to be white colour...this is why Americans are ahead of us."
