Ali Abdelaziz who is the manager of retired UFC star Khabib Nurmagomedov has stated clearly that the Russian got massive offer of $100m for him to face Floyd Mayweather.
Retired American boxer Floyd Mayweather remains one of the best in the history of the game considering his achievements before he hanged his gloves.
Since beating Conor McGregor in 2017, Floyd Mayweather has not fought any other professional battle except his involvement in exhibition games.
He will take on YouTube star Logan Paul on February 20th, and has been linked with a fight against Nurmagomedov in the past.
Last year after beating Justin Gaethje, Nurmagomedov retired from the game with a stunning record of 29-0 which was an incredible record for the Russian.
The death of his father was widely believe to have been the main rationale behind his decision to quit UFC despite age being on his side.
According to the report on Daily Star, Ali Abdelaziz confirmed that UFC president Dana White was also interested in seeing Khabib and Floyd go head to head.
“Listen, we got offered $100million to fight Floyd Mayweather.
"Dana White was on board, everybody was on board. But, you know, Khabib is an MMA fighter. If Floyd wanted to come to fight, get his little a** whooped, no problem."
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Russian professional MMA star Khabib Nurmagomedov got the backing of Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo for him to beat Justin Gaethje in their coming UFC battle.
Khabib who recently lost his father to Coronavirus has been unbeaten so far in his career and will face a big test against lightweight unification champion Gaethje.
According to the report, Cristiano Ronaldo was asked to predict who he thinks would win the coming clash between these two warriors.
And the Juventus star who is currently self-isolating claimed that he is supporting Khabib Nurmagomedov for the fight.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Khabib met two years ago before the footballer left Real Madrid and he even presented Los Blancos jersey to the Russian.
