Russian professional MMA star Khabib Nurmagomedov has gotten the backing of Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo for him to beat Justin Gaethje in their coming UFC battle.
Khabib who recently lost his father to Coronavirus has been unbeaten so far in his career and will face a big test against lightweight unification champion Gaethje.
According to the report on UK Sun, Cristiano Ronaldo was asked to predict who he thinks would win the coming clash between these two warriors.
And the Juventus star who is currently self-isolating claimed that he is supporting Khabib Nurmagomedov for the fight.
Ronaldo answered on an Instagram live stream:
"Of course, of course, Khabib is going to win!
"My brother! Inshallah!"
Cristiano Ronaldo and Khabib met two years ago before the footballer left Real Madrid and he even presented Los Blancos jersey to the Russian.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is a UFC fan and previously trained with Russian Khabib's former opponent and rival Conor McGregor flur years ago in America.
