Breaking: Buhari's minister Pantami loses 13-year-old daughter

- Malam Isa Ali Pantami, the minister of communications and digital economy, has lost his 13-year old daughter, Aishah Isa.

- The minister's daughter died on Monday, November 23

- Pantami broke the sad news via his Twitter page

The minister of communications and digital economy, Malam Isa Ali Pantami, has lost his 13-year old daughter, Aishah Isa.

Legit.ng reports that the minister announced the passage of the Aisha on the evening of Monday, November 23, on his Twitter handle @DrIsaPantami.

Pantami, however, did not indicate the cause of death.

The minister said the funeral prayer for the late Aisha would be performed on Tuesday, November 24, at Annur Masjeed, Wuse 2, immediately after the Zuhr prayer.

He tweeted:

"Inna lil Laahi wa inna ilaiHi Rajiun! My 13-year old daughter, Aishah Isa Ali (Amal) passed away just a moment ago. Due to some necessities, funeral prayer tomorrow at Annur Masjeed, Wuse 2, immediately after Zuhr prayer in sha Allah. May Allah forgive & be Merciful to her."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had previously reported that a former commissioner for health in Bauchi state, Hajia Zuwaira Hassan, died in a ghastly motor accident.

It was reported that Hassan died on Monday morning, November 23, at Zaranda village, about 36 kilometres away from Bauchi metropolis.

She was the departmental head of community medicine, college of medicine at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, Bauchi state.

A close relative confirmed the death of the former commissioner who died at the age of 46 leaving behind three kids and a husband.

In another report, some unknown gunmen suspected to be kidnappers abducted the brother of the minister of agriculture and rural development, Alhaji Sabo Nanono.

According to the report, the gunmen stormed the family house of the minister and abducted his blood brother, Babawuro Tofai.

The personal assistant to the minister, Umar Wali also confirmed the abduction to a Kano-based online newspaper.

Wali said that the gunmen attacked the house around 1.00 am on Monday, November 23.
