Jadon Sancho is not part of the Dortmund squad that will face Freiburg on Saturday afternoon, October 3 in the German Bundesliga, with the transfer window having just about 48 hours left.

The England international has been heavily linked with a move to the Old Trafford and with speculations that he could still leave the German club this summer, he is out of the squad facing Freiburg.

He is also interested in a move to England but was part of his club’s training last Friday, however reports say he is ill, amid rumours he is heading to the EPL.

Also, goalkeeper Roman Burki is also missing for Dortmund, but both Jude Bellingham and Gio Reyna have been named in the starting line-up.

And this is coming barely four days that the Red Devils reportedly released the sum of £65million up front as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will make one last attempt to land £90million rated star.

The Borussia Dortmund winger had been on the radar of the Red Devils for some time now with reports that the German club is not willing to consider any figure less than £108m valuation for the England winger.

Dailymail are reporting that Manchester United will hope to lure the Bundesliga giants to sell the star for a figure totaling £90million once 'achievable add-ons' are accounted for.

According to Dortmund’s head of football Sebastian Kehl, the club will not sell Sancho no matter the amount tabled.

He told Ruhr Nachrichten: "He (Jadon Sancho) is our player, and he will stay. "It was an important statement from the club because we have a certain responsibility. Without Jadon this team is weaker."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Lucas Ocampos has emerged Manchester United’s transfer target after the Red Devils failed in their bid to land Jadon Sancho and Ousmane Demebele to the Old Trafford, SunSport reports.

Reports have it that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is preparing a bid for the Sevilla striker after he has only managed to sign Donny van de Beek to the Premier League club during this transfer window.

26-year-old Ocampos is an Argentine who has been with Spanish outfit Sevilla since 2019 helping the club to Europa League glory last season.

The striker is very experienced having played for top clubs including River Plate, AC Milan, Monaco and Marseille.
