WWE legend Triple H has advised Declan Rice against leaving West Ham United this summer.

Rice is wanted at Chelsea to bolster the club's squad, with Frank Lampard understood to be a huge admirer of the midfielder.

The Englishman grew through the ranks at Chelsea academy alongside Mason Mount, but the Blues released him at the age of 14.

The 21-year-old would later join West Ham where he established himself as one of the finest midfielders of his generation.

However, Triple H, who is an ardent West Ham fan wants Rice to turn down a move to Stamford Bridge and remain with the David Moyes-tutored side.

The former wrestler believes the England international will be in a position to build a legendary status with West Ham should he commit his future to the London club.

"I have a message for one Declan Rice. Declan, you’ve got big decisions ahead of you and I understand that," Metro UK quoted Triple H saying.

"Stay with West Ham and become the hero, become the champion, become everything that they all know Declan Rice can be," he noted.
