- Arda Turan does not question Cristiano Ronaldo's quality one bit
- But former Atletico Madrid star thinks Lionel Messi is a better player when it comes to a football game
- The Turkish star played against both stars while at Atletico Madrid before moving to Camp Nou in 2015
Former Barcelona star Arda Turan has equally jumped on the 'Greatest of All Time' debate between rivals Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Both superstars have treated football fans to the best of the game in recent times and have also dominated the game for well over a decade.
Having played against both on several occasions during his reign at Atletico Madrid, Turan is one of those who could contribute to the subject matter with confidence.
Although he went ahead to sign for the Catalans in 2015, he never really attain the form of success he enjoined at Atletico with the Blaugrana.

However, the 33-year-old who recently signed a two-year deal with Turkish giants Galatasaray believes the Argentine star international boasts a better all-around game.
During his reign at the Camp Nou, Turan lifted one La Liga and two Copa Del Rey titles alongside with Messi.
Though he admits that Ronaldo is a special player, he insisted that he is nowhere near the Barca legend.
Turan told beIN SPORTS Turkey via Goal, he said: "Messi is present in every moment of football. He can dictate the game in every aspect.
"There's nothing bad to say about Ronaldo but he's a goalscorer, albeit a very special one. Messi does everything in this game.
"He does things you can't even imagine to do. His intelligence, his vision, his passing are all much different. "And every person I have talked to about this agrees with me.
"Except the people who are close to Ronaldo, his team-mates, who say it's Ronaldo as they answer politically. "Ronaldo is my friend and it's not my place to question his quality. But I think Messi is better."
Apart from Turan, most players who have faced both stars gave the edge to Messi in terms of who is the better footballer. And the world's top managers do not hold contrary opinions.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Andrea Pirlo was recently named Cristiano Ronaldo's manager at Juventus after the sacking of Maurizio Sarri last weekend.
Apparently, the Italian football legend is not much of an admirer of the 35-year-old goal poacher after excluding him in his Dream XI.
But Barcelona captain and Ronaldo's arch-rival Lionel Messi was included in the list of icons of the game - mostly dominated by retired men.
