Currently trending on social media is a now viral video of a young lady who was recently caught trying to deposit some fake naira currencies in Edo state.

According to reports going round, she tried to deposit the sum of N200K in fake currencies, at a POS store in the state capital, Benin.

In the video, the lady who was surrounded by an angry crowd, confessed that she met the person who lured her into the criminal act, on Facebook.

Only a while ago, a Nigerian businesswoman who is into cloth selling took to the photo-sharing app, Instagram, to call out a young lady who tried to scam her. According to the cloth seller, the young lady identified as Ayomide Ogunduyile tried to scam her with a fake alert.

"Earlier today, I posted that two ladies (friends) tried to scam me of #120,000 and #46,000 respectively. During this process, madam Ayomide was messaging asking for her order that was supposed to be delivered on Saturday," she wrote.
