Ease of lockdown: Stay indoors we are not outside please fam - Davido

- Singer Davido has reacted to the ease of coronavirus lockdown in Lagos

- The music star in a Twitter post noted that Nigerians are playing with fire

- Davido pleaded with citizens to remain indoors

The past few weeks in Lagos have been on a complete lockdown in other to prevent the continued spread of the coronavirus pandemic. However, that has now changed as President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu eased the lockdown in the state starting from Monday, May 4.

Upon the ease of lockdown, several reports have flooded social media with claims that residents in the state are not adhering to the social distancing rules that have been put in place to contain the spread of the virus.

Among those who have now reacted to the disturbing trend is Nigerian singer, David Adeleke. The music star recently took to his official page on Twitter in which he expressed concern over what is happening.

A concerned Davido noted that citizens are playing with fire. Davido advised people to remain indoors as most celebrities are also doing the same.

"Bro, look it from the side of people who live on daily incomes. What is the government giving to sustain?? Stay indoor - hunger. Go out and hustle - Coronavirus. A neighbor told me this morning 'Something must kill a man'," one follower tweeted in response.
