American rapper, Marshall Bruce Mathers III, popularly known as Eminem is showing gratitude to healthcare workers in his hometown, Detroit.

All over the world, healthcare workers are in the frontline of the battle against the deadly virus as they are doing their best to care for patients and also ensure that the disease does not spread.

Meanwhile, Eminem's hometown is one of the worst-hit places in the US. So, to appreciate them, the rapper donated food to them

Although Eminem hasn’t spoken out about his donation, Henry Ford Hospital, a beneficiary of his donation took to the social media page to appreciate the entertainer.

"Our #HealthcareHeroes “lost themselves” in the delicious Mom’s Spaghetti donated by Detroit’s very own, @eminem. Thank you for providing a special meal for our team members!" they wrote.

Meanwhile, Linas Beliūnas, a fintech expert, earlier shared the photo of a couple on his LinkedIn on Monday, April 13, to show how they placed people's needs over theirs.

The said couple who were supposed to be married dumped their plans for that and resumed work to attend to the increasing number of coronavirus cases.

In a romantic photoshoot, the couple kissed and held cardboards that read: "We should be getting married today but instead we went to work for you. So, stay at home for us."

In another report, a 23-year-old surgeon from India identified as Shifa M Mohammed postponed her wedding and decided to serve coronavirus patients at an isolation centre.

Dr Shifa was supposed to tie the knot on March 29 but chose to work on that day to take care of her patients at the isolation centre. She is a house surgeon at the Pariyaram Medical College Hospital in Kannur.

The surgeon said her marriage can wait, but not her patients who are struggling in isolation wards.
