South African top rapper, David Junior Ngcobo professionally known as Nasty C, has declared MI Abaga as the best rapper in Africa and fans are surprised.

The talented rapper revealed this in a recent Instagram live video, after he was asked who his top 5 rappers in Africa were.

Nasty C who recently got signed to Def Jam Records, stated that he didn't know a lot of rappers but his number one rapper in Africa is MI Abaga.

For many people, Nasty C is arguably the best rapper in Africa. So, for them to hear him giving someone else that title, has surprised a lot of people, some of whom think he is just being modest.

Holding a different opinion is Nigerian rapper Yung6ix, as he appears to be holding a grudge against MI Abaga and this was recently made public via a post shared on his timeline on Twitter.

Reacting to a post from a radio station that was playing his song, Grammy Money, Yung6ix used the opportunity to let the world know that MI did not show any support towards promoting the song despite being a featured artist on it. He added that his senior colleague refused to spread the word of the song let alone come for the video shoot.

Meanwhile, there was a time when MI Abaga, was known as one of the best rap artistes in the country. Well, time changes a lot of things and a lot have to be done to maintain relevance in this highly competitive entertainment industry.
