RMD, others feature in first Nollywood-Bollywood movie (photos)

- Two of the biggest movie industries in the world are coming together for a new project

- Movie lovers were recently entertained following the news of the Nigerian and Indian film industry working together

- The Nollywood-Bollywood movie titled Namaste Wahala stars a number of Nigerian celebrities including RMD, Inidima Okojie, Broda Shaggy, to name a few

Movies are a way to tell stories that are special or peculiar to a people. In the past, people from different regions rarely work together on a project but we are glad to see that it is changing now.

The Nigerian movie industry is known to be a multi-million naira business that has been thriving for a long time. In the past, movie lovers were thrilled with films showing the country’s rich and diverse culture.

Well, people in other parts of the world are about to get a glimpse of Nigeria’s beautiful culture just like Nigerians are about to see their people work alongside Indians on a movie project.

Just recently, news made the rounds that Nollywood and Bollywood are collaborating on a new movie and fans are in anticipation.

The new film, Namaste Wahala brings together Nigerian and Indian actors to tell a story.

Nigerian star, Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), Inidima Okojie, Broda Shaggy, to name a few are also featured in the film.

In a post shared by the film producer and director, Hamisha Daryani Ahuja, on Instagram, she explained that it is a story close to her heart because it brings Nollywood and Bollywood together.

She wrote: “Presenting Namaste Wahala. A story with a lot of laughter and a few tears about love and family. This project is very close to my heart as it's my first movie and it's also the first movie ever that brings together Nollywood and Bollywood. I am grateful to all the extraordinary cast and crew that helped me make this project a reality.”
