Video shows nurse entertaining patients with stories and dancing (video)

- A nurse has melted the hearts of many after a video of her was shared online

- In the clip, she was seen dancing and entertaining patients

- She said that she enjoys taking away people's pain through laughter

Every hospital waiting rooms have different kinds of patients. From the man waiting for his wife to safely deliver their baby to a daughter praying for a successful surgery for her mother and many other situations.

Although patients' situations may be different, many do not find it exciting to sit for long hours. They are all praying to find healing as they look longingly at the nurses and doctors.

To reduce the pressure that patients feel in the hospital waiting room, a nurse identified as Thathakahle Gumede has been spotted entertaining her patients.

A heartwarming video of Gumede was shared on social media entertaining patients at a local clinic. In the footage, the woman tells humorous stories accompanied by dancing, much to the delight of her patients.

Legit.ng gathered that Gumede works at Philani Clinic in Scottburgh, KwaZulu-Natal. After the video was shared online, she took to social media to thank everyone for appreciating her work.

She said: "Thanks all of you. Sometimes you do something routinely and without thinking and you are surprised at the positive impact on other people. I do this almost every day because there's always something in me that wishes to reach the hearts of the sick person and make him feel wanted and loved and laugh the pain away, whether physical or emotional pain."
