Full list of 2020 Oscar award winners
The 92nd Academy Awards were presented Sunday, February 9, 2020 and as expected, many people went home as proud Oscar winners and some, very inspired to do more and better their craft.
Earlier on, Legit.ng published the news of how Grammy award winner Billie Eilish performed a beautiful rendition of the Beatles' 1965 hit Yesterday at the recently concluded 2020 Oscars award ceremony.
Although Nigeria’s first film to ever be sent for consideration at the Academy Awards was kicked out of the race, many movie fans across the country followed the much-coveted award show to see who won what award/awards.

Still on the Oscars, Joaquin Phoenix won the Best Actor award at the 92nd annual Academy Awards for his superb acting in the popular film, Joker.
He remained humble when accepting his award, and had this to say: "I’m full of so much gratitude. and I do not feel elevated above any of my fellow nominees or anybody in this room because we share the same love - the love of film."
His acceptance speech wasn't as much about how great working on the film was as it was about the things that humanity is doing wrong.
