Actress Maryam Booth accuses ex of blackmail after her unclad video leaked

Popular Hausa actress, Maryam Booth, has reacted to the leak of her unclad video which went viral online.

In a statement which she posted on her Instagram page on Saturday, February 8, she said she would have wanted not to talk until forensic research and investigations have been completed.

She, however, said what has made her comment on the issue was the statement from Ibrahim Ahmad Rufuai aka Deezell, also her ex-boyfriend.

She said Deezell had in the past threatened that he would leak her video online unless she gives him money.

The popular actress said she had been trying for a good three years to protect herself by every “possible means”.

The actress said that her ex secretly recorded her while she was changing her clothes. Maryam added that she is in serious talks with her associate for proactive actions against whoever leaked the video.

The actress also thanked her family, friends, and fans who have been supporting as goes through the present challenge.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a video showing an unnamed schoolgirl expressing her support for Tacha went really viral online. Not only that, but it also got everyone talking.

This happened after the Ex BBNaiaja star visited a school on Wednesday, January 6, to launch her new initiative called Pad for Every Girl Child and donated some sanitary pads to female students.

The said girl could not contain her excitement as she said she was happy to meet the controversial reality star and that the experience was “mad o”.

After her expression of love for Tacha, she called on everyone to support her as she sang the popular mantra associated with the star, saying “No leave, no transfer”.
