Oil London: 29-year-old marries a cardboard cutout of his idol in Las Vegas

Oil London, a 29-year-old British man who spent over $150,000 (N54,375,000) on plastic surgery to look like a popular pop singer, Jimin, has married a cardboard cut-out of the same musician.

Daily Mail reports that the marriage ceremony was conducted at Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel in the presence of an Elvis Presley impersonator.

In speaking with the media, the 29-year-old said that it was such an emotional ceremony for him as he married the picture of the person he has spent so much to look like.

“It was such an emotional ceremony. I felt very emotional. Jimin is my idol. I've spent a lot of money on surgery to look like him, and now I've actually married him.

“I don't know what else I can do next. It's the happiest day of my life. I can almost cry," he said.

His friends witnessed the occasion as he walked his lovely cutout of the singer to the chapel before they got wedded.

He said he is really happy that he is finally marrying the musician, commenting on how the singer (the cutout) is smiling at him.

'We're going to get married, finally. So happy. Yay!' he gushed. 'I'm going to marry Jimin, guys. Look, he's smiling. He's so happy,” he said.

While doing the necessary signing, the 29-year-old said that he is going to fill the form for his better half, saying “I guess I'll sign for you, Jimin.”
